Flu season is here. Flu vaccines are available including flumist. All children older than 6 months should receive an annular vaccine. If your infant is less than 6 months old, all close contacts should be vaccinated. If your child is older than 2 years old and has no contraindications, they can receive the flumist.
Parents, if you have not had a tetanus booster with pertussis, check with your doctor or talk to us. Pertussis is wide spead in PA and OH and many other states. Children older that 6 months have received all the primary Dtap which includes the pertussis. Younger children are at risk for pertussis if their caretakers are no longer immune!!!
We can immunize family members here in the office.
